When you are managing many pages on Facebook through one account, you can receive multiple notifications daily such as on comment on posts, new Likes, tags from fans and private messages. This can not only make it harder to keep track, it can also start to become annoying. Turning off notifications directly on Facebook and opting to have Facebook send you these condensed notifications to your email and only on a weekly basis can help you keep track of page activity better.
Here are the steps to turning on weekly Facebook page updates sent to your email:
Step 1: Click on the Privacy tab on the top right side of your Facebook account and click “See More Settings”
Step 2: Click on Notifications > under “What You Get Notified About”, click on “Pages you manage”
Step 3: Choose the Page that you want to get notification emails from and click “Edit” that’s beside its name
Step 4: On Facebook, choose “Off” option if you want to stop receiving alerts on Facebook. Under Email, choose “Get an email each time there is activity on your Page or an important Page update.” option to start getting weekly updates on your Facebook page.
